Gita Sweeney founded Gita Group with the philosophy that public relations and marketing is most successful when executed with a quality-driven strategy that genuinely aligns with each brand’s unique identity.  An experienced perspective matches her intuition for public relations and marketing.  Prior to starting the company, Gita had the opportunity to work with some of the most exceptional and renowned brands in the culinary and hospitality industry.  Among them, Alain Ducasse, Charlie Trotter, Jacques Torres, Sirio Maccioni, The South Beach Wine & Food Festival, TurboChef Ovens, Moet & Chandon, Chambord Liqueur, as well as Michelin’s inaugural guide in the United States – the launch of The Michelin Guide New York City 2006

In January 2006, with many successful campaigns under her belt and strong media and industry relationships, Gita took the knowledge and experience she had amassed to found her namesake company, Gita Group. She has an innate understanding of public relations and marketing that places the utmost importance on how to foster an in-house relationship as a consultant to her clients.  She and the team at Gita Group are credited for helping clients to find the right branding approach and teaching them how to reinforce their message by utilizing both traditional and creative public relations and marketing techniques.
